Martial Arts In My Life

By reading the title on this blog you may think that I might be a martial arts pro, but is wrong martial arts has been a little part of my life, little, but important and remarkable. Everything started when I was just 12 years old and my childhood best friends tried to convince to join Tae Kwon Do class at our local Boys & Girls Club and I said no to them. They eventually convinced me after they asked my mother to talk to me about it.

My Tae Kwon Do Life

After taking classes of Tae kwon Do a martial art originated in Korea, I realized that since I wasn't too much of a fan of sports other than volleyball, kickingball or soccer which were the ones I only practiced, my place was into the field of Martial Arts. Tae Kwon Do based on kicking and punching was a martial art that I  always admired and for me was the best one, even though I haven't practiced it a for a long time my love for Tae kwon Do still resides within me. Starting as a white belt as most martial arts from exercising, to breaking fake and real woods, winning and losing fights in matches during class or tournaments helped me a lot to see that in general life is based on persevering and moving forward and seeing beyond the horizon.
